Hey, I’m Kait
With over twenty years behind the chair, I’ve worked everywhere from behind the chair, fashion shoots and television sets to wedding mornings filled with excitement, nerves, and laughter. Each experience has shaped my approach to beauty — one that’s elevated, timeless, and personal.
I founded Black Pin Project to bring an editorial edge to bridal hairstyling while keeping the process warm, inclusive, and grounded. My signature is creating hair that feels refined, polished, and authentically you — the kind of beauty that photographs flawlessly but still feels effortless in person.
Beyond wedding mornings, I’m a mom and a lifelong creative, currently building new ways to share what I’ve learned and connect with other artists in our industry. Education and collaboration have always been at the heart of what I do.
